Ami Du Quartier

Ami Du Quartier
The projects
We worked with AMI to define the concept and identity of the experience, then designed and developed the entire platform: from the public interface to the tools powering it.
The idea: AMI PARIS celebrates friendship in the neighbourhoods that matter to its community—the places we visit, the habits we share, and the appointments we make.
Everyone is invited to share their own story, however simple: Sunday flowers, ice cream in winter, or coffee at the same place every day.

A camera roll rather than a feed
Stories are explored like a roll of photographic film: a familiar, immediate gesture that gives space to images and words rather than to the interface.
Each contribution combines a photo, a sentence, the first names of the friends involved, and the exact location where it happened, pinned on the map.
Four categories organise these moments:
- Small gestures
- Memories
- Meet-ups
- Habits
The places we visit, the habits we share, the appointments we make.

On the tech side
Development of an international platform using Next.js, deployed on Vercel and managed through Sanity CMS.
This architecture ensures fast loading times and smooth navigation across all devices, in both French and English.
The map and contribution feed allow users to move seamlessly from a place to a story. The programme’s entire logic and reward mechanics were custom-developed and managed through Sanity.
In the back office, AMI teams can manage data, moderate contributions, configure the map, and gradually roll out the experience across new cities and neighbourhoods.
Editorial content is centralised in Sanity, while user-uploaded media is stored separately.
An architecture designed to handle public contributions and allow the platform to evolve without intervention from the development teams.
